Dual Credit & Scholarship Information Spring 2025
Dual credit courses allow WN students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. This allows students to take college-level courses at a more affordable price. There is a fee per credit hour depending on the college and the course hours. The price can range from $85-110 per college hour. Most courses are worth 3 credit hours and are payable by the student through the college. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and meet the eligibility requirements for each course. These college-level courses are available to WN students through online courses taught by university professors.
The majority of the classes we offer meet the general education requirements for most colleges/universities. Students need to check to see how each class will transfer to each university they are interested in attending before enrolling in a dual credit course. You can usually do this by visiting the potential colleges/university website and searching for their course equivalencies section.
